Modern mindset development that resonates with Gen Z

I connect with students on a deep and relatable level because I was them just a few short years ago. Amidst the ups and downs of navigating the world as a young person, I developed my own mental toolkit, packed with strategies to deal with whatever comes my way – and now I’ve made it my mission to pass those tools onto the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and dreamers.

The ‘why’ behind my work

In a world where you can search anything on TikTok, students have access to all the information they could ever need… yet they still feel alone in navigating anxiety, managing life pressures, and finding their path.

Why? Because this content isn’t clear, actionable, or empowering.

Students flourish when they learn from someone they can relate to – someone like me.

What sets me apart?

My open, positive, and genuine presenting style meets Gen Z students where they are and acknowledges the intensity of the challenges they’re facing today. I view my storytelling as a superpower, and instil every talk and workshop with relatable, personal elements.

I create a welcoming environment where your students can be themselves, face their obstacles, and build life-changing skills.

Meet Paris

What working with me looks like…

  • For over 7 years, I’ve been speaking to young people at schools across Australia. When I was in high school I realised I could support my peers by sharing the ‘mental toolkit’ I had developed to tackle the obstacles I was facing.

Now, close to a decade on, I’ve taken those experiences – as well as the ones I’ve encountered throughout university, my career, and beyond – and channelled them into engaging, upbeat, and actionable presentations that actually connect with young people.

  • In my talks and workshops, I tackle contemporary issues facing students today, including:

    • Harnessing your anxiety

    • Resilience for the digital world

    • Critical thinking

    • Solving the problems of the future

    • Leadership for tomorrow

    • Taking responsibility for your life and your future

    • Networking for Gen Z

Get to know Paris McNeil

Having an abundance of hobbies and pastimes outside of work helps me show up bigger and better for your students, because all of my ‘cups’ are full! Here’s what I like to get up to in my spare time:

For my body

Cricket (I’m terrible at it, but it’s fun!)

Running

Skiing

For my mind

Listening to podcasts

Reading books that help me think differently

Yoga

Scrapbooking

For my growth

Meeting new and interesting people

Working with others to support their growth

Doing things that are outside of my comfort zone, like dancing, singing, and scrapbooking

For my soul

Laughing with friends until our stomachs hurt

Enjoying nature

Board games (the more complicated and competitive the better)

Praise for Paris McNeil

  • I wanted to share my positive experience with Paris's leadership training. It was engaging, educational, and well presented. The Young Leaders came out of the session feeling confident and excited with their new leadership skills. Paris's enthusiasm and kindness made the session enjoyable, and her approach was both informative and practical.

Orlarne Marche, Town of Victoria Park, Youth Programs Officer

  • Thank you, Paris for provoking thought and sharing insights with our Year 6 cohort. We were delighted to host you at the College.

Bek Duykers (Deputy Principal) – Coomera Anglican College

  • Paris really set us up for the afternoon and it was great to see the students put her tips into practice in the activities later on in the afternoon. Paris spoke well so that our Year 7 students could really understand and grasp the concepts she was putting forward. It was great to see her have a laugh and rapport with them. The students continued to use terms such as: active listening, empathy and leading by example. This was down to Paris and her delivery!

Emma Sykes – Prendiville Catholic College

  • Paris was a wonderful speaker who gave so much insight from her own personal experience transitioning from university to the work life. I found a lot of relevance to her experiences and the ways she’s dealt with the feeling of imposter syndrome, this talk has been incredibly beneficial.
